Positive Approach® Care Partner Support Series – Five Sessions to Change
$100/person for the full 5-weeks
The Positive Approach® Care Partner Support Series – Five Sessions to Change is designed for professional and family care partners. The series is meant not only to support, but also to educate, offering practical tools grounded in understanding how dementia affects the brain.
Over five weeks, we explore Teepa Snow videos together to study the brain as a source of answers for the often challenging situations of dementia. Each week builds on the last, covering topics such as understanding dementia, brain and sensory changes, navigating challenging moments, and strategies to reduce distress, helping participants apply what they learn in a practical, relational way.
Who this is for:
Care partners who want to understand how changes in the brain affect daily interactions
Professionals looking to deepen their understanding of dementia in real-world care
Participants seeking practical, relationship-centered approaches to support daily interactions
Past participants have shared:
“I found the experience very helpful in understanding how my spouse’s brain and behavior is changing and will change as his AD progresses. I also see how my reactions to these changes can affect our lives significantly.”
"What an enlightening experience this is. I am so glad I am on this learning journey. In only 2 sessions I have learned so much about dealing with dementia and how to react to the changes it is bringing to my life and my husband's life. Thank you Colleen!”
