Professional Trainings

I am a Certified Independent Trainer in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™) .

Trainings are offered for care communities, professional teams, and organizations that regularly interact with people living with dementia. This may include healthcare professionals, community staff, or first responders.

Many standard dementia education programs focus on theory or broad knowledge. My trainings focus on practical, real-world skills, helping your team respond in the moment, strengthen connection, and reduce distress.

AVAILABLE WORKSHOPS (by inquiry):
Workshop A: Normal Aging vs. Not Normal Aging
Workshop B: Positive Physical Approach™ & Hand-under-Hand®
Workshop C: Seeing GEMS®, Not Just Loss

Additional PAC™ trainings and certification opportunities will be added in 2026.

What participants gain:

  • Practical guidance for responding to challenging situations- which are actually unmet needs in disguise

  • Confidence in using reflective, relational strategies that support connection and safety

  • Awareness of brain changes and how they affect interactions

  • Tools to reduce stress for staff and improve outcomes for residents
