Confidence in Care Partnering
When dementia or cognitive changes begin affecting daily life, it can feel confusing to know how to respond or what to do next.
Get clarity to these moments so you can understand what is happening and respond with more confidence, calm, and connection.
No one person can do this alone.
So your loved one received a dementia diagnosis. Now what?
Initial Consultation (Virtual)
60 minutes | $135
The Initial Consultation is a focused 60-minute session where we look closely at one real situation you are currently experiencing.
Together, we slow the interaction down, explore what may be contributing to what you are seeing, and identify practical ways to respond that support more connection and less distress.
This session is often both clarifying and grounding, and it also helps determine what level of ongoing support may be helpful.
This is for families and care teams who are:
Navigating new or changing dementia-related behaviors
Feeling unsure how to respond in specific situations
Looking for clearer understanding of communication changes
Seeking grounded, real-time guidance for next steps
Ongoing Care Partner Support
For many families and care teams, one session is not enough as needs evolve over time.
Ongoing Care Partner Support provides continued guidance as new situations arise, helping you reflect on what is happening, adjust approaches, and strengthen communication and connection over time.
Support may include:
Review of real-life interactions and challenges
Guidance on communication and response strategies
Support with decision-making in complex or uncertain situations
This support is typically offered virtually for consistency and accessibility.
Guided Engagement Sessions
In Person, Packaged-Based
Guided Engagement Sessions are in-person visits focused on direct, relationship-centered interaction with the person living with dementia.
These sessions are paced in the moment based on how the individual is experiencing their environment, with the goal of supporting comfort, regulation, and meaningful connection.
Care partners may observe when appropriate. Following the session, I provide reflection and guidance to help translate what was observed into practical support strategies.
Sessions may take place in the home or care community.
Ongoing Support Pathways
Support often becomes a combination of consultation and in-person engagement over time.
When helpful, care is structured to include both reflective guidance and direct engagement sessions, based on evolving needs.
Plans are determined together after the initial consultation.
How to Begin
Most families begin with an Initial Consultation. From there, we decide together what level of support is the best fit based on your situation and goals.
Not ready for one-on-one support?
If you’re looking to better understand dementia, communication, and everyday responses, but aren’t ready for one-on-one support, this small-group series may be a good place to start.
